ATI Comp Predictor Practice A

We have done many ATIs throughout this class already but the comprehensive predictor practice A was one of the most beneficial exams we have taken. This exam covered many different aspects of nursing that we have learned over our four years of nursing school. I personally believe that this exam will hopefully reflex the NCLEX the best, because it incorporates many different topics. For example, it covered physiological adaptations, pharmacological and parenteral therapies, reduction of risk potential, basic care and comfort, psychosocial integrity, health promotion and maintenance and more. This exam demonstrated that pharmacological and parenteral therapies; and physiological adaptations were the two sections I struggled the most with. I personally believe that I was thinking too much about the question and over thinking what the question was actually asking for. On the other hand there were a few questions I remember that I read the question too fast missed a key work in the question. After this exam I determined that I want to become more efficient on how long I take on each question, to ensure that I do not over complicate the question on future exams and the NCLEX or miss key works. I also enjoyed this exam because it made you recall information that we learned many years ago that will be needed in our nursing carrier and for the NCLEX. By taking this exam now it will also help me identify what subjects I should focus on reviewing and other brush over topics that I know.
