ATI Care of Children

The ATI Care of Children adaptive quiz was very helpful to complete at this time, because it lined up with taking my ATI proctored exam Care of Children. By completing 88 questions on the adaptive quiz it was very helpful to get exposure to more questions. I completed the proctored exam at a level two due to the amount of questions I answered before hand. By allowing me to answer questions before the proctored exam I felt more confident walking into the exam. I came to the realization that completing the adaptive quizzes will help with the NCLEX by getting comfortable with going over 75 questions and getting used to the style of questions. I did go over 75 questions during the adaptive quiz and I still felt confident in my answers unlike the pharmacological ATI assessment. Throughout the adaptive exam I took one break at 50 questions. I do believe that my score could be improved by taking a break every 30 questions to decrease stress.

To help decrease my distractions I took the adaptive quiz in the quiet section of the library to ensure I was not overwhelmed with too much stimulation. My plan is to take the rest of the adaptive quizzes in the quiet section to ensure I am in a testing environment to be prepared for the NCLAX.
